WhatsApp tracker WaBetaInfo has informed that when this new feature is launched, when the user goes to send a photo to someone in the contact list, a photo quality option will be shown before sharing the photo. This photo quality icon will be at the top of the screen. Along with this there will be many other tools.

From this it is understood that if a user wants to share an original quality image through WhatsApp, he has to change the quality settings of that particular image. This will result in better image quality and shareability. But in this case more data will be consumed than now. Because sending and downloading good quality images requires more data.

This new feature has been noticed in Android 2.23.2.11 beta update. However, the exact launch time of this feature is not yet known. Although it is assumed that this feature will be rolled out for all users very soon.
